Refund policy

Our Guarantee: At Skylight Depot, we deliver exceptional products directly to your door. Our commitment to quality ensures that every product arrives in pristine condition. Should you encounter any issues, we’re dedicated to resolving them promptly with a replacement or return to guarantee your satisfaction.

Guidelines for Pre-Installation Builder Arrangements:

  • Pre-Installation Inspection: We advise customers to fully inspect the product and ensure satisfaction before any installation arrangements are made. Confirm everything from product quality to expected delivery times.
  • Costs of Early Arrangements: Any costs incurred from arrangements with builders before ensuring satisfaction with the product are not covered by Skylight Depot. This includes deposits and fees related to scheduling and preparation for installation.
  • Responsibility of the Customer: Customers must be completely satisfied and verify that the product meets all specifications before proceeding with installation.

Return Guidelines:

Eligibility for returns includes:

  • Blinds and Skylights: Notify us within 7 days if defective. Skylights specifically require notification within 12 hours.
  • Incorrect or Wrong Deliveries: Inform us within 7 days to arrange for the correct items.
  • Change of Mind on Standard Items: Returns of unopened off-the-shelf (standard) items are accepted within 14 days. A 10% restocking fee applies.

Non-returnable Products considered bespoke:

  • Customised skylights (frameless, framed, walk-on and modular) and blinds
  • All lanterns, including custom sized lanterns
  • All Brett Martin products 
  • All Framed skylights

To initiate a return, contact support@skylightdepot.co.uk. Ensure that the products are unopened, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

Additional Terms:

  • Restocking Fees: A 10% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns.
  • Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged, inspect immediately and refuse delivery to allow for swift replacement.
  • Labour Costs: Installation labour costs for faulty or incorrect items are not covered.
  • Refund Timing: Refunds are processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned goods. Please reach out to us if there are delays.

Custom Orders: Custom orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Double-check your specifications and consult technical drawings before finalising orders. If a non-custom item is ordered incorrectly, full refunds are granted if not dispatched; otherwise, shipping and return charges apply unless managed by the customer.

Refunds for accepted returns are issued within 7 business days to the original payment method, after proper inspection at our facility.
